Mad World

RayBan Sunglasses / Lulu’s Dress (gift) / H&M Belt, Bracelet/ Coach Watch (gift) Sole Society Sandals (gift)

The last time I wore this dress was in New Orleans so I decided it was high time to bring it out into the light once again. I wore it to a breakfast event at Banana Republic for their Mad Men collection (fell in love with a pair of leopard pumps) and found it to be the perfect dress to say cool and breezy in, yet still look fun and put together. I loved wearing it, except that halfway through the very sunny day we were having, I realized/remembered that it had the tendency to become see-thru depending on which way the light hit the material. Fun times. Nonetheless, I still love it…just need to get a slip for the next time around. xoxo

  • I love that dress. I am a sucker for leopard print. We all have that piece that we suddenly realize is see-through. Nothing a slip or strategic lighting can’t fix. xoxo

The has happened to me with a summer dress or two. I’ve been obsessed with the slips and under garments worn on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and I think I may be on the hunt to own some similar pieces.

  • WOMAN! So I think I’m flying in for at least part of fashion week. I will be needing to see you at some point. Let me know your plans for Fashion’s Night Out. Also, I was looking thru your posts and seriously, you have the best legs ever. Makes me want to consider the possibility of perhaps maybe getting a gym membership again… maybe.
