Yes, more black and white, my friends, plus my very first pair of nerd chic glasses, which I am excited to showcase for the first time on le blog. The great thing is, I barely even know they are there, plus I like the different look they give me.
If you’ve been reading the blog for a while, I’m sure you’ve noticed that I love to change my style and be all chamelion-like—girly one day, edgy the next. But, I do have my staple pieces I go back to, and one general accessory that I love, is a good scarf. I feel like it can act like a necklace or statement piece when you don’t feel like wearing a lot of jewelry, or when your outfit needs a little jazzing up without a lot of effort.
In this case, my outfit is fairly plain and monochromatic, which makes this snakeskin printed scarf the perfect “umph” this ensemble needed, as well as my new glasses, of course!
Side note: For some reason I looked down in the majority of these shots. Thing is, I do have a shy side…guess I was feeling a bit bashful. Maybe it was my new glasses…

Wow. That’s a total Clark Kent phenomenon – that doesn’t even look like you! But in a fabulous way. I am loving this whole look, but the glasses in particular!

The photos in this set are spectacular! Totally relate to the chameleon dressing! That is part of what makes fashion so fun. you can dress to suit your mood. This outfit is great and I love the glasses!

I wanted to cry out a “hear hear!” to this post. I am a huge believer in the importance of a scarf and eyewear. A scarf always add a finishing touch, and eyeglasses, in my opinion, are just another accessory. I used to work at an eyeglass store and now swapping around my specs is my favorite way to top an outfit.
