I stopped into Forever 21 the other day and came across the perfect pair of high-waisted shorts. I was really taken by the detailing on the front, plus the material is super light with a breezy-like quality, which will be perfect for the humid weather I have to look forward to on Thursday when I fly back to New York. But, in the meantime, before I head back to a very steamy city, I am going to enjoy wearing them here, where it is a comfortable 75 degrees sans the humidity.
By the way, do you guys recognize this top? If you do, you would remember it in the form of a romper that I wore here, and tucked in, here and here. As much as I loved it as it was, I found that I wasn’t wearing it as much as I should be. So, I decided to partake in a little DIY project and ended up turning it into a cute little crop top.

Those are really nice shorts! I’m biased against the high-waisted look, and yet I love those, so in my head they are not high-waisted. Whatever, right?
Also, GO YOU for liberating a cute print top from the romper that otherwise dragged it into obscurity.
