I have been revisiting this photo quite a few times ever since Katy, of Kansas Couture, posted it early last week. I met her last September at the Weardrobe Conference, and she really is this adorable in person, and super sweet too! Anyway, the thing is, I own this top, which is actually a striped dress from H&M, as well as the metal braided necklace she’s wearing. I also have floral skirts that I love, but the one used in this outfit really does it for me. So, because I love this look so much, I decided that my goal is to try and recreate this look as best I can. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Stay tuned this week to see what I come up with!

I have that skirt from target…. and a vintage braided necklace… and a striped shirt! Done. Totally bogarting this look. : ) I’ve been trying to think of a way to make the skirt look less like Easter and Katy did a fantastic job of that.
