I am flying back to New York today, but wanted to share a few photos from the rehearsal dinner on Friday, which was at Ivar’s Salmon House on Lake Union, for my friend Allison who got married on Saturday.
As the week was coming to an end, I quickly realized that I didn’t take into account having two dresses—one for the rehearsal dinner and one for the wedding. (I was a bridesmaid but we got to pick out our own black dresses—thank goodness.) Anyway, my saving grace was that in my little box of goodies, courtesy of Obey Clothing, there was this lovely little dress, which turned out to be the perfect for the dinner. I threw on a blazer (H&M), a tan skinny belt (thrifted) and black patent leather heels (F21) to pull it all together, and off I went! Here are some fun photos taken during the evening.
Good friends!
Me and the bride, Allison!
Me and one of the other bridesmaids and good friend, Lisa.
The happy couple!

Great dress! I hope you post pictures of you and the other bridesmaids in their black dresses as well–I am in a similar wedding this summer and am stressing about what kind of black dress to buy for the occasion!
