Saturday, albeit the bitter cold, was the most lovely, leisurely day. It started with brunch at Prune in the East Village, which was delish, and I had the best bloody mary ever. But, there was a bit of wait beforehand, so we wandered around the neighborhood and came upon Bespoke Chocolates. It’s totally hidden in a deserted alley, yet so adorable and has the yummiest chocolates ever. We bought some that came in the pretty red box and munched on them after brunch at a little coffee shop around the corner. The rest of the afternoon was spent shopping and browsing until finally it came time for my Godmother to arrive in from Seattle! She was my very special Valentine last night, and we even went to go see Valentine’s Day, the movie. How fitting, right? It was a perfect way to end the evening. I actually really enjoyed it because, well, I love cheesy, lovey, feel good movies. Don’t you? Now your turn. Did you have a special valentine this weekend?
xoxo

Bespoke Chocolates?! That’s a brilliant name!
I had a very chill, homey Valentines Day. Just homemade meals, a failed cookie experiment, and studying. But that’s the way I wanted it.
