Okay, so we all know I got a new haircut, which consists of me having bangs again, but this is just a fun little post to show how I styled them. Instead of having them lay flat to my head like how they were when I left the salon the other day, I blew them out, gave them some volume, and then left the rest of my hair wet, shoving it up into a messy bun. The end result is my natural waves peeking out a bit here and there, looking relaxed and natural.
The other fun thing I wanted to share with you guys is this sweater.I bought it about a month and a half ago at H&M but have never worn it until yesterday. I was sort of unsure of the shoulders and felt like an alien, but after wearing it all day it really started to grow on me. What do you guys think? Whimsical or weird? I like the sweater! It definitely draws attention, but not in a bad way. I’d love to see full-body pictures to see what you’re wearing it with!

looooove it! i have really short hair (cropped like a boy’s) so any kind of shoulder embellishment is key. Plus, it reminds me of michael jackson, all his epaulettes he used to wear, and to me, that’s just plain cool.

I love this sweater, yes I do! I have a similar hairstyle right now and I wear it up in a messy bun most days. The bangs make me feel more put together and styled, even when I am not:)

I love the sweater! I have a sweater with ruched sleeves and half the time I feel lovely in it, but the other half I feel like I belong on star trek :)

LOVE the new hair! When you style it like that, it reminds me of tinkerbelle ;) I think the jacket is one of those items that takes someone special to pull it off without looking odd- but you wear it beautifully, as always. Can’t wait to see the outfits you create with it!

I think the sweater definitely works–it goes along with the very hot ruffle trend. Also, when I had bangs, I styled my hair this way ALL THE TIME. I kind of miss being able to shove my wet hair into a bun and have my hair look awesome just from taking five minutes to style my bangs.

Love, love, love LOVEEEE the bangs. I really want bangs. Really want to love them. I cut mine every so often in the hopes that I’ll actually wear them down and style my hair nicely, but they end up pinned back after a day or two. I’m tempted to cut my hair!
