Can anyone else believe that it’s the 21st? Holy cow, where has the time gone, seriously. I hope you all have had great luck with Christmas shopping. But, if you need any last minute gift ideas, I will be finishing up the last of my Gift Guide over the next day or two, so stay tuned!

So, there are a few fun things about this outfit. First, does anyone recognize this “shirt” that is under the dress and vest? Well, over the summer, I wore it here, here and here. I also wore these knee socks here. The other great part of this outfit is the new watch necklace that my mom gave me the other night. It was my Grandfather Frank’s pocket watch and it even has his initials on the back of it. I am so in love with it. And the best part is, now I have both my maternal Grandfather and Grandmother’s watches. They have both passed away now but I still think of them all the time, and want to try and wear them together on the necklace shown above.

Love the way you are remixing the dress. I have a kind of embarrassing question, though! I love the idea of layering something over a romper….but do you have any tips for going to the bathroom? Over the summer, I found my romper kind of burdensome for that reason, but do you just deal with it for fashion’s sake? That is a lot of layers to take on and off…

That is a totally legit question. :) I basically just come to terms with the fact that I will be half undressing in the restroom stall if I wear a romper under anything. It is pretty hilarious, but I guess that is the price we pay for fashion!

My favorite part is the knee socks, although the vintage watch is great, too. Love family heirlooms.
