Wow, I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of my remix challenge, and it’s New Year’s Eve! I plan on wearing sequins…that’s all I’ll say for now.
This outfit was inspired by the lovely Garance Dore’s take on the denim shirt. In the near future, I definitely plan on tucking it in or tying it around my waist, but for now, I decided to layer it over the black dress and belt it. And, in order to avoid bulkiness, I pulled the sides of the shirt to the back and made a little pleat for fun. I showed my Dad these photos, and he blurted out, “That’s where my shirt is! I have been looking all over for it!” Oops!

I LOOOOVE this! I’ve been looking everywhere for the perfect denim shirt. No dough, yet, but I’m not giving up that easy!

Ha! Your Dad is cool. I really like the way you’ve styled it. Men’s shirts are tricky. You make it look rad, and you keep the little black dress fresh.
It’s really good to hear that the one dress remix days have passed quickly from your point of view. That makes it seem more doable from my standpoint.
