My friend Carolyn from The Daily Obsession, asked me to cover the Walter RTW show yesterday morning and let me just say, it was an amazing collection. More to come on the actual pieces, which I will be writing up, and sharing photos on my blog as well as on TDO, which I will definitely post a link to, but for now, here is what I wore to the show. I love this strapless girly, rose-printed double-tiered dress, which I wore here, but I wanted to dress it down a bit, seeing that the show started at 10AM. So, I threw on a jean vest and a casual brown braided belt to give it a more relaxed look. The green suede peep toes added a little color as did my favorite yellow bag, and before I knew it, I was off, coffee in hand!
My Outfit:
Sunglasses: Fred Flare
Necklace: Grandmother’s vintage watch on chain
Vest: Levi’s thrifted from Buffalo Exchange
Dress: Buffalo Exchange
Belt: Thrifted from the Goodwill
Shoes: Franco Sarto, thrifted from Beacon’s Closet
Bag: Coach

Nice one! I like all the bits of color you added. Great idea with a black dress.

Looks great- love the jean vest for your day look!
p.s. you looked great at the Soiree- you were standing in line in front of me and I totally chickened out to say hi. Something about meeting people when you only sort of know them from online makes me very shy I guess.

I love this dress! I love how you styled it both times, but I think I like todays, the best! Theres just something about taking something fancy and mixing it with denim!

fabulous remix! I love how your green peep toes (and nail polish) match the florals in the dress, while the yellow contrasts.

the dress is so lovely, especially in combination with the belt :)
