We’ve all been there…a night of dancing and your toes feel like they are going to become permanently numb if you don’t get your shoes off immediately. Well, fear not! My best friend A sent me to this site and I just had to share with you all. These ballet flats, called Rollasole, which are available to buy in vending machines conveniently located at clubs and restaurants around London, are only 7 British Pounds, which is roughly $13. They come complete with shoe sleeve too! At first I felt envy and thought, those lucky Brits! Why can’t we have them here? But, then I saw that the website ships to the U.S.! Sweet. Sign me up.

Rollasoles are cute, to be sure. I can see them falling easily under the ‘impulse buy’ category, and at $8US, that makes sense. But will this be a ‘get what you pay for’ situation? The sizing is S/M/L, so likely a poor fit regardless of your size.
The benefits to compactable shoes are clear – style and portability is a great combo – but if the soles are dirty when the shoe is rolled, then the whole shoe gets dirty, and what’s to keep them rolled in your bag?
